Permanent Make-up
General Questions
What is permanent make-up?
Permanent Make up is a non-surgical procedure, a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos, permanent pigmentation of the dermis.
The major difference between Tattooing and Micro pigmentation is the depth of the penetration into the skin. The procedure is considered permanent as it cannot be washed off, however, the color should be considered “semi-permanent” since fading will occur over time.
Commonly known as Micropigmentation, the specialized technique is also referred to as Micropigment Implantation, Dermagraphics, Dermapigmentation, Cosmetic Tattooing, Embroidery, 3D Tattooing, Microblading and more.
How does it work?
The human skin composes of two distinct layers. The Epidermis forms its outermost layer, followed by the Dermis.
In pursuance of producing designs that resemble makeup, organic pigments are placed shallow beneath the Epidermis, slightly into the uppermost part of the Dermis.
